You should've been there, it was great.

808 State - Quincy's Lunch

Forty thieves with dirty sleeves broke into my house last night.
They drank all the gin,
and made such a din,
I challenged the lot to a fight.

One of their pluckiest began to approach, so I felt in my pockets for shrapnel.
I flung the coins
straight at his groin,
and he sunk to his knees, as is natural.

Another of their number came forward, his fists in the air.
He looked quite a brute,
but not too astute.
So I shouted "look out behind you!" and hit him with a chair.

At this display the thirty eight left began to discuss:
"Well, he's ran out booze,
and we've broken all the loos."
And at that, filed out of the house without a fuss.

Once they had left, I began to consider the whims of fate.
If they had continued to riot,
but stayed ever so quiet,
maybe we would have all become best mates?
