Rupture's Barcelona-based subterranean label Soot releases 'diasporic breakbeats' sounds that are international in scope, defying nationality and genre, yet are relentlessly danceable. his infamous 'gold teeth thief' mix, a set which devours and recontextualizes big time pop tunes alongside violently blasted beatscapes, has had over 80,000 downloads. The threat that it should descend into chaos is never far, but rupture's pinpoint turntable accuracy keeps the tightrope taut.
