What a treat! This seems to be my favorite Terry Riley period. I have another piece from this same
recording.."In The Summer"- which is trancendent.
That too was snagged from a blog. Can you direct me to where I could pick up "La Secret De La Vie" ?
Is it available on CD ?
I got to see Terry Riley play in the 70's -a multi-hour version of "Poppy NoGood " I was a yound squirt- but it left quite an impression.
Thanks for the piece.

Ken's turned up nothing from his diligent searches online, and rumours have been heard that it's out of print, so here's a link to the copy of the album I've got.
Terry Riley - La Secret De La Vie
Any more deatails about the sort of impression the live performance left? We'd love to hear them and Ken Trax could do with some more live reviews, even if they are a couple of decades late in their reporting.
