looks very interesting!
I am searching for live-interfaces, to find
a way to avoid this boring "sitting behind my laptop" performance.
the shape sequencer could be a welcome solution for this problem.
are there any chances you share the program?
greetings
sascha

This looks very interesting! I hope you release it soon. And when you do, do you think i could use a Joystick as a controller?

Only if it has as many analogue controllers and buttons as a PS2 gamepad, which has 4 axes and 16 buttons. Not only would you get half the functionality with a two axis joystick, but it would assign functions to controllers that weren't there and possibly break the whole thing.

btw, you should have noticed by now that it has indeed been released: http://www.apfrod.com/works/2005/09/23/shape_sequencer_v1_2_release
although it's utility is questionable.
